APPLY FOR A GRANT.
Donors within the Community Foundation of Western PA & Eastern OH have a primary goal of bringing out the best in our neighbors. This objective can only be reached by partnering with our amazing local service organizations and dedicated citizens. To this end, we welcome grant applications which represent local charitable programs that match the eligibility requirements outlined below.
Be a 501(c)(3) as determined by the IRS, faith-based organization, or government entity (i.e. libraries, schools, etc.)
Provide services within the counties of Mercer and/or Lawrence in Pennsylvania and/or Trumbull in Ohio.
Be current on all final reports for grants from the Foundation; if your agency has a program currently being funded by the Foundation and your final report is not yet due, you must submit an interim report letting us know the progress of your program or project when applying for a new grant.
Submit an initial Letter of Intent via the Community Foundation's Grant Portal.
Upon approval and by invitation you will then be asked to submit a Full Grant Application
Upon receipt of a Full Grant Application, the Community Foundation will contact the applicant to inform them of the remaining steps of the application process.
All eligible grant applications received by the quarterly deadline will be placed on the agenda for the upcoming Board Meeting. Following the Board Meeting, applicants will be contacted and informed of the status of their grant request.
First Quarter: February 1st
Second Quarter: May 1st
Third Quarter: August 1st
Fourth Quarter: November 1st
