James K. Adams and Arlene L. Adams Foundation
Since 1993, the James K. Adams and Arlene L. Adams Foundation has awarded more than $1.9 million in no interest loans and other student financial assistance. The professional success and philanthropic generosity of our Founders has allowed nearly 200 students to enroll in higher education and realize their dreams.

After more than 30 years of serving the Central PA community and its students, the leadership of the Foundation has elected to ‘sunset’ the Foundation and reinvest remaining funds to provide scholarship to matriculated students at Grove City College - an institution that James and Arlene held in the highest regard.
What does this mean?
If you are an undergraduate recipient of 2024 Adams Foundation support, monies have been set aside to continue to fulfill the 4-year commitment to your education. The Community Foundation will take over disbursing these funds.
The leadership of the Adams Foundation believed it to be both ethical and just to support the remainder of your college education. Please click the button on this page to submit your renewal information before March 31 to receive support for the next academic year. For example, to receive support for the 2025-2026 academic year, your renewal information must be received no later than March 31st, 2025.
NOTE: To obtain these funds, undergraduates must submit a new application each year prior to March 31st. The funds will be disbursed as scholarships rather than loans with the committed funds being sent directly to your institution.
