REMEMBERING DANIEL JOSEPH O'BRIEN.

Strength Doesn’t End. It Carries On.

There are some men who fill a room.

Not because they are loud.
Not because they demand attention.
But because they show up.

Dan showed up.

He showed up for his children — Bailey, Dylan, and Donovan.
He showed up for Nancy — the love of his life.
He showed up for friends, for teammates, for family.
He showed up for the two golden retrievers who rarely left his side, because loyalty recognizes loyalty.

And when life knocked someone down, Dan didn’t look away.
He stepped in.

When a child loses a parent — or faces hardship too big for their age — everything changes.

Confidence wavers.
Dreams feel distant.
Silence grows heavy.

But something else can happen in that same moment.
Someone can step in.

  • A coach.

  • A mentor.

  • A sponsor who quietly covers a registration fee.

  • A community that says, “You are not alone.”

That is where legacy begins.

The D3OB Legacy Fund was created to honor the life, character, and values of Daniel Joseph O’Brien by supporting children who have experienced the loss of a parent or significant hardship.

We provide opportunities — not handouts.
Opportunities to compete. Opportunities to lead.
Opportunities to grow.

This is personal.

Dan’s legacy lives through Bailey, Dylan, and Donovan — and through Nancy, who carries his love forward every day. The D3OB Legacy Fund ensures that his values do not end with his life — they multiply through the lives of others.

When you give, you are not funding a program.

You are helping a child stay in wrestling instead of quitting.
You are helping a teenager find mentorship instead of drifting.
You are helping a young person feel seen when the world feels uncertain.

You are stepping in.

You are carrying the legacy forward.

Help us turn hardship into hope.
Help us build resilience in the next generation.
Help us ensure that when a child needs someone to step in — someone does.

Join the Legacy.
